Opening Times
The School Day- 2022 / 23
In order to create a Covid safe school we have implemented a staggered start and end times for upper school and lower school pupils. This system allows us to limit the number of people at the school gates at the start and on the playground at the end of the day.
Year 5 and 6 start school at 8:30am and finish at 3:00pm. Year 3 and 4 start school at 8:40am and finish at 3:10pm. There are always at least two members of staff on the gate top welcome the children as they make their way to their classrooms through their allocated entrances.
The School Day
The gate onto the playground opens at 8:30am where there will be duty members of staff. At 8:40am children are collected from the playground by their teacher and taken to their cloakrooms. It is important, however, that your child does not arrive too early as we do not officially accept responsibility for pupils until school starts at 8:30am, unless they attend a before school club, in which case they should be left in reception.
