                                                  Who are we?

We are a group of children who were selected by our teachers from last year. Our teachers chose us because we paid great attention to our computing and online safety lessons. Our digital leaders from Year 3 were picked this year as they enjoy and pay attention to their computing and online safety lessons. We work with Mrs Smith from PJS and Ms Rudge from the Walsall Council.

                             Why are we here?

We are here to make sure all of the students in PJS are safe online and help them if they are not.  We do this by creating anonymous surveys for the children to complete so we can help all of the students and try and prevent this from happening to others. Our digital leaders also produce powerpoints containing information about the dangers online. We produced an assembly that we performed in front of the whole school about online safety. The assembly took place on Safer Internet Day.

                                                 Why do we do this?

We do this because we do not want any of the children to come to school upset because of something that they have seen online. They could also come to school very upset because they were being bullied on an app that was not appropriate for them. We would prefer all of the students to come to school happy and not have to worry about things that they witnessed online during their learning. If you have any problems with online safety, please come and talk to any one of the digital leaders.
