Well - being is a real focus at Palfrey Junior School, we like to give the children lots of opportunities to talk about their thoughts and feelings. We currently run: 1:1 mentoring/ well - being sessions, group mentoring and well - being sessions, nurture groups/social clubs and a Young carers group would be a new addition we could offer.
If you think your child is a young carer we would really like to know so that we can offer them help and support in school and to your whole family.
Our school's Young Carer Champion is Miss Thomson so please get in touch. You can either email support@palfrey-j.walsall.sch.uk and she will get back to you to organise time for a chat, pop into reception and see if she is free or speak to her on the gate in a morning.
