The School Day

Year 5 and 6 start school at 8:30am and finish at 3:00pm. Year 3 and 4 start school at 8:40am and finish at 3:10pm. This means that our school week consists of 32.5 hours a week, not counting after-school clubs.

There are always at least two members of staff on the gate to welcome the children as they make their way to their classrooms through their allocated entrances and to speak to if you have any worries, concerns or messages.

The School Day

The gate onto the playground opens at 8:30am for upper school (Y5 &6) where there will be duty members of staff, lower school then go to their classes from 8:40am. Any children in Y5 or 6 or arrive after 8:40am will need to enter school via the main office and sign in as they are late for school and registers will be closed. It is important, however, that your child does not arrive too early as we do not officially accept responsibility for pupils until school starts.
